Economic definition of Islam by the Experts

Economics in Islam is the study of all human behavior in meeting their needs with the aim of earning Falah (peace & welfare of the world-the Hereafter).

Islam said the economy in the expression of Islamic Economics as an identity function without affecting the meaning or definition of the economy itself. Because the definition is more determined by the perspective or, more precisely worldview that is used as the basis of value.

At a certain level of definition issues are related to Islamic Economics at the discourse of Islamization of Sciences (Islamization of Knowledge) Science in Islam is more to the knowledge of proven scientific truth that can bring people to God (revelation standard - absolute truth). While Science is widely known in the conventional world is all the science that meets the rules of scientific method (human creation - the relative truth).


Human behavior here related to the foundations of the Shari'a as a reference behave and tendencies of human nature. And in the Islamic economy, the two interact with each portion until it forms a unique economic mechanism with the basics godlike value.

"Islamic economics is the knowledge and application of the teachings and sharia rules that prevent injustice in the search and expenditure of resources, in order to provide satisfaction for people and enable them to perform their obligations to God and society."

2. M.A. Mannan,

"Islamic economics is a social science study of the economic problems people have Islamic values."

3. Khursid Ahmad,

Islamic economics is "a systematic effort to try to understand the economic problems and human behavior in relation to these issues from the viewpoint of Islam."


4. M.N. Siddiqi,

Islamic economics is the response "Muslim thinkers of the economic challenges of their era. In this effort they were assisted by the Holy Qur'an and Sunnah As well as reason and experience. "

5. M. Akram Khan

"Islamic economics aims at studying human welfare (WEB) is achieved by organizing the resources of the earth on the basis of cooperation and participation."


6. Louis Cantori,

"Islamic economics is not another attempt to formulate a science of human-oriented economy and society oriented to reject the excesses of individualism in classical economics."
